International Profit Associates President Gregg Steinberg Named Chairperson
for Weizmann Institute
Gregg M. Steinberg, President of International Profit Associates and Integrated
Business Analysis (IPA-IBA), based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., has been named
Chairperson for the Midwestern region of the American Committee for the
Weizmann Institute of Science.
As Regional Chair, Steinberg is dedicated to ensuring that the Institute continues
their vital research in the global community through consistent local community
programming, education, leadership and ongoing development and support.
Steinberg joined IPA-IBA in 1992 and became its Chief Financial Officer in 1995. He
has been President since 1997. Civically, he has been a board member of the Jewish
Community Centers of Chicago and a past board member and Chairman for various
committees of the Jewish Council for Youth Services. Currently, he is a member of
Aspen Institute’s Middle East Strategy Group, and involved in a leadership role
with the Suburban Human Relations Commission.
The American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (ACWIS), founded in 1944,
develops philanthropic support for the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, one of
the world's premier scientific research institutions. The Weizmann Institute is a
center of basic interdisciplinary scientific research and graduate study, addressing
crucial problems in technology, medicine and health, energy, agriculture and the
environment. ACWIS is a national community of dedicated volunteers and professional
staff who share a common vision with the Institute in advancing science for the benefit
of humanity, and in strengthening Israel through science and technology. Through their
generous philanthropy, ACWIS supporters become partners with Weizmann Institute
scientists in the search for answers to the most difficult challenges facing humanity.
Together, ACWIS in the U.S. and other Committees throughout the world, and the Weizmann
Institute in Israel, comprise a flourishing humanitarian enterprise dedicated to
improving he quality of life for all humankind through scientific research.
