International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA) was a major sponsor of the recent B.B. King
Blues Festival in Chicago. IPA’s sponsorship provided support for the Children’s Brittle
Bone Foundation and Special Olympics Illinois. IPA
also donated a gift in event bags for concert attendees.
2004 Blues Festival appearances included B.B. King, Dr. John, Shemekia Copeland, Elvin
Bishop and special guests The Muddy Waters Blues Band at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago.
"We’re delighted to be a major sponsor of this great event,” said John Burgess,
Managing Director. "It’s all the more gratifying that our sponsorship dollars are going
to support these two great causes."
"We appreciate the continued support of IPA-IBA, a long-time supporter of Special
Olympics Illinois," said Doug Snyder, President and CEO of Special Olympics Illinois.
The Children’s Brittle Bone Foundation is a Chicagoland, all volunteer, not-for-profit
organization founded in 1991. Their mission is to provide funds for research into the
cause, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and eventual cure for Osteogenesis Imperfecta
(OI), while supporting programs which improve the quality of life for people afflicted
with OI, promote awareness and educate the public.
Special Olympics Illinois is a human service organization that offers year-round sports
training and competition for persons with intellectual disabilities. Through training
and events, they not only provide these athletes with a vital outlet for physical fitness
and competitive activity, but also help enhance their motor and social skills, create
stronger self esteem, increase personal confidence and celebrate their abilities to help
lead fuller lives.
